Help ! I Will Be Father And Want To Know About The Thai Visa

Featured Replies

Hi everybody !

I stay actually in Thailand with a tourist visa and my thai girl friend is pregnant, can i get another visa to stay with her and take care my sun ? Which one please? How long i can stay? How to do it?

Thanks you so much for your help !!!!!!!! :)

Not until the baby is born (or you marry your girlfriend) and you legitimise the child (recognise the child as yours before the law) would you qualify, for a non immigrant O visa. Right now you only qualify for a (double entry tourist visa), which could be spread out to 180 days (depending on your nationality).

Thanks a lot Mario so with a non immigrant O visa i can stay how long in thailand, i have to go out every 3 months? :)

If multiple entry visa, 90 days on each entry. Do border run just before visa expires and get another 90 days, stretching visa to 15 months.

Depending on immigration office you can apply for 1 year extension of stay.
