I voted to disagree as I feel it's unfair that Immigration Police Dogs not receive overtime compensation, in the form of a nice tasty bone, when they work overtime.

The english wording seems screwy. Maybe if they left the word "only" out, it would make more sense.

To me, it seems like it could just as easily be an innocuous space-filler... The question is also poorly formed, making it confusing, so how can one so easily jump to a firm conclusion about it's meaning and purpose being there?

Maybe my eyesight is worse than I'd thought.

Clearly the bag is not the reason he was apprehended. As we all know, photos documenting the charge will always have at least five smiling officers and/or witnesses pointing at the scene of the crime.

I suspect he was apprehended for illegally having handcuffs in his posession.

How did I reach that conclusion.....I read it....and kept in mind it is a Thai site...I once received a letter from the BOI in english that needed translation to english...Just because they work in government departments doesnt mean that they are all have a perfect command of the English language.

I tend to give some clue when I'm trying to be funny or sarcastic...like a etc., etc...

This is text, not face to face talking. Assuming others should read between your lines or assuming what you write as a joke should be obvious to everyone else, just doesn't always work very well in a text environment without some more clues... It's not always easy to separate humour from some of the other junk posted here on a daily basis.

Right, I could not find a :deadpan: emoticon among the clickable options. The best dry joke is when you can get someone to laugh at one interpretation, then cloud over in confusion, then laugh at the other interpretation, then cloud over with suspicion and finally then laugh at the whole situation. It's a bit like joke haiku!
