ballbreaker
I live in the sticks and cannot get wired phone line so use GPRS/EDGE on my mobile phone. You connect PC to phone by Bluetooth or USB cable. Speed will vary throughout the day dependent on system loading but I usually have no problems listening to streamed radio from the states. If I have large file to download I usually do in the morning and get speeds around 24KB/sec. I have a monthly internet package from AIS that cost 350 baht for 100 hours per month.
