Tourist Visa - Revolving Door?

Featured Replies

How many times can someone enter Thailand on a tourist visa, leave the country within the allotted days (30 or 60 - or 90 on an extension), and re-enter again? Is this something that can be done perpetually? Or do the border patrol eventually say, Sorry?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

No hard and fast rules other than a tourist visa is designed for exactly that tourism and not for long stays in the Kingdom..............you may get back to back tourist visas for the next 10 years on the other hand you might get turned down tommorow...no one can say.

Immigration are understandably somewhat miffed at tourist visa's enabling defacto residency.

Rumours last year were going around that they'd stop after 3 times - never happened though.

the day they refuse these re-entries is the day their economy suffers and they know it
