Passport

Copies of Passport, ID page, Visa and entry stamp

Copy of TM6 (Departure Card)

Form TM47

Original 90 day receipt from previous report on any subsequent reports

You can do it by mail, in which case you need:

- copy of passport ID-page and vise and permission to stay stamps

- copy of arrival card

- original receipt of last 90 day report

- 90 day report

- stamped return enveloppe wit your address on it.

Has anyone used the mail service? I am extremely reluctant to put my passport in the mail, registered or not.

However, I just got back from my 90day report at the new immigration office. Good news: It was almost empty and the entire transaction took about 30 seconds. Yes, that's right. 30 seconds, not 30 minutes or an hour and a half.

The bad new is that the new immigration office is located MILES AND MILES from anything. I went to Mo Chit (evidently the closest BTS stop) and took a van (25baht) to a stop near the place, then took a free shuttle bus to the building itself, which is gigantic, and walked another 250 meters to the destination. Fortunately, there were signs pointing the way to the correct office. I took a taxi home (near Ari) for 160 baht plus 55 baht toll.

Alternatively, are there any legitimate services that will do all this for me?

You do not send your passport. You send a copy.

I have done this many times and the reciept always came back. Send by EMS

The One Stop Visa Service Centre at Rasa Tower 2 is much easier to get to - about 10 minutes walk from Phaholyothin MRT. Also very efficient - took me about 15 minutes to do my 90 day report last week and it was quite busy.

Is this a private company or a government office?

Even though I live in Bangkok for 15 years I am often upcountry and mail my 90-day in from there, with return address to my Bangkok apartment. Never a problem, even with the new move. I mailed it to Suan Plu and it was received there on SEPTERMBER 28 (the day of the move!!). But, anyway, it was pocessed somewhere and mailed back to me on October 7.

So, mail-ins remain acceptable for Bangkok expats.

According to this report it will soon be moving. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Stop-Visa-Sh...ng-t305852.html

Just got back from Immigration office at Rasa II building Pahonyothin fro 90 day reporting. They certainly will move this office to a location next to Chulalongkorn Hospital. The address I have in hand is as follows:

One Stop Service Centre

Chamchuree Square 18th Floor

319 Payathai Rd, Pathumwan

Bangkok

they say the subway station 'Samyan' is best for transport. But you could take the BTS to siam and walk back around opposite MBK.

the map I have is confusing.

Thanks for the information. Any indication of a moving date?

That's very interesting, and could be helpful. Can you advise what you send in photocopy form, and the address to which to send it. Thanks very much.

The address to send it to depend on your immigration area. it has to be send to your own immigration office.

The problem being that one or two do not accept posted reports. :)

What is the address for sending these photocopies, for someone living in Bangkok?

90 DAYS REPORTING SECTION

Immigration Bureau (Imm. Div. 1)

Chalermprakiat Government Complex

120 Moo 3, Chaengwattana Soi 7

Tungsonghong, Laksi District,

Bangkok 10210

- Immigration requires stamped addressed envelope to have 10 baht stamp affixed for return of notifications of staying over 90 days.

- Strongly recommend you send in using EMS so you can track delivery.

- Report must ARRIVE at local immigration office by the due report date (there is no 7 day extension for mail-ins).

Many thanks.

Just wanted to pass on my positive experience of my 90 day report through the mail system.

My report was due on 22 February. I mailed the TM.47 form and photocopied documents on 11 February using EMS. A check on their website confirmed receipt on 12 February. Returned documents and Receipt of Notification received from IMM on 23 February, with next report due 22 May, (which coinicides with my next Extension of Stay), which I will do on 11 May, requiring me to do the next 90 day report after that, before 22 May.

Thanks to thaiphoon, Mario2008, Lite Beer and others for their help. Given the Chamchuri Square One-Stop option, I might use that next time. But both of these are certainly better than having to schlep out to Chaengwattana.
