Now, here's an intelligent post on the topic. Maybe they thought he was going to put his motion in a plastic bag and fling it at Abhisit, following a time honoured red tradition.

i think that would be inappropriate in a parliament.

and imagine : someone could take the movie clip of it and turn it into a animated gif and use that as avatar in a forum. the throw action in an endless loop. again and again. meant to be funny but in the end childish and over the time annoying for everybody else.

and intelligent? no. not even entertaining.

So, where would an appropriate location be? Jatuporn will be most interested as to where he can get the best effect. He can't really afford to waste a single one, after all, he's not made of motions. Well, not below the neck anyway.

By the way, I'll have you know my avatar won the esteemed "Golden Banana" award for best short film at the prestigious first annual Barackville Film Festival and Hog Calling Contest. With special motion, sorry, mention, in the Thai Parliament. The judges remarked on its being "funny, without being childish", and "extremely intelligent entertainment, without being annoying, no matter how many times we watch it". I'm very surprised you didn't read about my acceptance speech in the Nation, where I called the few judges who didn't vote for it morons, and said I'd never put any money into their home towns ever again.

appropriate locations to fling something (not deadly, not dangerous) at a politician, public person:

the example of your avatar would be an accepted exemption, situation. Noël Godin cream pie flings could be seen appropriate. or throwing eggs at John Prescott or Helmut Kohl, okay from time to time. could be seen as the peoples voice.

the problem with your avatar is not it's content, but just that it is animated. waste more bandwidth, than other 'traditional' avatars. that is ignorant towards other users with a slow internet connection. the flickering is annoying, distracting. it is a visual LOUD, screaming, unnecessary NOISE, pollution.

it is bad netiquette.

While some scolding can get downright erotic, it's never the less :)

The same can be said of the content of several posters here on a regular basis :

Wasted Bandwidth, Ignorant toward other users, Flickering, Annoying, Distracting, Unnecessary Noise Pollution.

Of course being civilized people we don't point fingers or throw brickbats. Do we...?

Ballpoint don't change the animated GIF, it slows down a particular slow connection from posting even more...

I wonder if I can get my All Seeing Eye to roll periodically?

Maybe an animated Jatuporno Avatar would be tasteful, some scene where he is in full rant,

and then get changing cartoon balloons to fit the news of the day.
