The grey cable looks like the connection from UPS to computer. The other picture is a bit confusing. Don't know what the black box is, are there no instructions? Is there any writing on the black box? like input and output voltages and what kind of socket plugs does it have?

Could be cables for running your telephone and LAN connections through the UPS or/and is there a "D" plug to connect the UPS to computer for software control?

I have an extension board plugged into my UPS and plug everything, printer monitor etc. into that. Just make sure if you use extension board it has the three pin plug (not just 3 pin socket with 2 pin plug) I even ran a continuity test on the earth wire to check it is actually connected :)

You need to plug the cable in the first photo into the back of the UPS and then into the back of the computer, from what I can see you have the UPS plugged into the power socket and the computer plugged into the power socket. If this is the case your UPS is just doing nothing, all devices that are to be protected buy the UPS need to be plugged into the UPS.

The grey cable looks like the Power cable to the CPU or a Monitor . My guess is its a special cable to power the CPU from the UPS.

First picture looks like the lead you would use to connect your UPS to a power strip, such as what you may find inside server cabinets. You are probably connecting UPS to mains, so no requirement for this optional lead.

Second picture, not clear, need to see close up of the ends. Could it be a data cable for connecting to serial port for UPS monitoring software. Its not clear.

Would help if you told us the "Brand and model". A close up of just the UPS would help too.

The grey lead is an IEC - IEC lead, could be used as an extension or if the UPS has IEC outlets be used to connect the computer to the UPS, you may not need this lead.

As others have noted, plug the UPS into the wall, plug your PC and monitor into the outlets on the UPS. You should then be good to go.

There should have been instructions, a quick-start guide at the minimum :)

NOTE some UPS's have 'protected' output, which has surge protection but does not remain on if the mains fails, plug your laser printer into this outlet.
