Hello,

With my wife, we are business holder of a thai limited company 6 mB.

In the company, I have 3 work permits for my 2 salaries and me and I don't employ any thai people.

I got a 1 year visa B and my wife a 1 year visa O.

Our 2 children of 10 years old got 1 year visa O also and go to an international school in Koh Samui.

We live in a house that my wife bought with her brother and her parents (4 people share holders).

I know that for my stamp extension I have to go out of Thailand every 3 months because I don't employ 4 thai salaries.

But, for my wife, I woud like to know if she can get the stamp extension without going out of Thailand because of children at school, or because she is owner of a house, or ... I don't know !

And I would like to know if it's true that our children don't need to go out of Thailand because of their age (no need until 14 years old ?).

Thank you for your response.

Home provides nothing. Children should be in school under section 2.9 on one year extension of stay. That is important. Once they have extensions of stay wife could obtain using section 2.11

Although children are not charged for overstay they are required to observe the same requirements as adults and there passports would be marked overstay if they did not. In this case you need them to be legal and with extension of stay for wife to use section 2.11

As said . The Children should be on 12 monthly extensions for education.

Your Wife can then be on 12 monthly extensions as their parent. She would need 500,000 Baht in a Thai bank.

Hello,

I understand that I need to ask to the headmaster if the international school is accredited or not.

2.9 In the case of enrollment in a private educational institution: Permission will be granted for a period as confirmed by the institution but shall not be more than 1 year at a time

(1) The alien has obtained a temporary visa (NON-IM)

(2) The particular educational institution holds a license from the competent authority to operate; and

(3) Confirmation and request has been made by that particular institution; and

(4) That particular institution is accredited by the competent authority (except in the case of enrollment in an international school or university)

(5) In the case of parents, there must be an account deposit with a local bank made in the name of father or mother of not less than Baht 500,000 as shown in bank account transactions for the past 3 months. For the first year, it should have that said amount in the bank account for not less than 30 days at the submitted date of the application.

4) mean that if the children go to an international school, permission should not be granted ?
