I have been reading a lot about visa's and got myself confussed

I recently got married in October and will be returning in March to be present when my wife applies for a visa to the UK. She is 19 so as far as i know cant' apply for a settlement visa yet until she is 21.

In March she will be applying for a visit visa, there are 2 types of visa i think she can apply for,

Tourist visit visa(VAF1A)

Family visit visa (VAF1B)

She will be staying with me for the duration of her stay and i will sponsor the entire trip, meet my family and see some tourist attractions, she also has a Thai friend that lives about 35 miles from my home.

Can someone advise me which visa she should apply for please?

Also, does anyone know how long it takes to proccess visit visa applications?, i have heard 5-10 days and up to 6 weeks.

Its a family visit as your spouse.
