Can Anyone tell me if Songkran is on in Pattaya on 19th this year? we went down there last year & 19th was the final day, i have friends arriving that day and planned on heading down,

Yes it is, sorry; better plan to head down on the 20th so's you can be sure to avoid it. Don't arrive early: in Pattaya Songkran lasts an entire week. The 19th will be the climax.

Don't head down on 19th! I live here and last year it took me 5 hours to get 1k from Sukhumvit to Beach Road. Can get a motorbike taxi from Sukhumvit but likely to end up in hospital not in a bar!
