Brit Pupils See Live Sex Show In

London, November 08 (ANI): A school in Britain has suspended two teachers after it emerged that some pupils watched a live sex show, while on a Far East cultural trip to Thailand.

The students of Bingley Grammar, West York had apparently visited Patpong red-light district in Bangkok.

The parents learnt about the visit only after one girl posted pics from the trip on her Facebook web page.

A particular snap shows the students aged 16 to 18, and the two teachers sitting around a table littered with beer bottles outside a Bangkok bar.

Now, it has also come to knowledge that later the pupils headed to the city’s red light area, whose streets are lined with bars offering sex shows.

Seemingly, the development has created a buzz in the school.

“It is the talk of the school. The teachers, a man and a woman, are fighting for their careers over this because the youngsters were supposed to be in their care,” News of the World quoted a source as saying.

The insider added: “They are claiming that the kids did not drink or smoke although that’s not what the pupils are saying. But the worst part is that some of them went to the live sex show.

“The kids said it was disgusting, with couples there on stage having sex in a grotty bar. The teachers are claiming it was a mistake and as soon as the action started they left. But that is at odds with what the kids are saying.

“I mean, the Patpong area is not the kind of place where you go by mistake. It’s completely in your face and wall-to-wall sex.”

Meanwhile, head teacher Chris Taylor revealed that the school, with the assistance of Bradford Council, has initiated an inquiry.

He said: “A potential concern has been raised about activities during the trip. We are treating this with extreme seriousness.

“We will take appropriate action at the investigation’s conclusion. It is inappropriate to comment further.” (ANI)

As opposed to a similar picture in Leeds city center showing the students puking up across a table littered with WKD bottles.

I have to agree with the others here... A good lesson learned about the world about them. And, it certainly won't hurt them. It's probably nothing that some of the teenagers haven't already experienced. It's just too bad that the teachers will probably get suspended. It was pretty stupid of them thinking that the "word" wouldn't get out. Teenagers can't be trusted to keep their mouths shut about anything that is exciting. :D

You guys are laughing, but would you honesty want this to have been one of your kids?

Call me old fashioned but i thought teenage years were for about getting to know the opposite sex in doses. Learning about each other, including learning about the emotional aspects about sex (ok, well maybe that part is more for women, not sure..but boys at least then learn about the emotional reactions of girls/women). A raw in your face sex show could be hardcore even for many adults, nevermind impressionable teenagers.

Strange story. If true, im shocked the teachers facilitated this.

Wow Ian, really? You think a live sex show is a good lesson learned about the world around them? Is a live sex show reflective of normal life? Of normal relationships? Im also a bit confused by the idea that its something they have probably already experienced. Do you mean sex, or do you mean watching a live sex show? Exciting? To whom? What message is something like that giving kids. Because yes, i believe 16yr old (maybe not so much 18 yr olds) are still kids.

To be honest eek when I was a teen I was after anything of the opposite sex with a pulse as were most of the lads I knew. And there were plenty of willing partners. That's reality vs idealism.

As to the sex show. I wouldn't approve (of course not I'm a father) but on the list of things my child could be doing (like shooting heroin or mugging grannies) this comes fairly down the list of things I'd be offended by.

These are not really kids - 16-18 is above the age of consent in the UK. With the internet nowadays, do you really think that these pupils hadn't seen two adults copulating before?? Maybe some of them have actually 'done it' already.

Irresponsible on the teachers part, but it will be the best remembered and most talked about school trip in that schools history. Which says a lot considering the school was founded in the 1600s

Just to clarify, so you guys wouldnt mind your 16 yr old daughter being taken by an adult you trusted to a live sex show? You wouldnt mind taking her along yourselves? I know many of you think it may be fun for boys (but i also think thats giving out the wrong message imo, particularly if a boy hasnt been guided well.), but for girls??

edit: this was written before i saw the responses above.

I get what you mean guys, but i see difference from watching net porn to going to some hard core live sex show. I realise its the age of consent, but i still think that age group although physically able, are still emotionally vulnerable. A group of teenage boys sneaking out and seeing a stripper for example seems part of growing up. Going along on a school "trip" to a sex show with teachers just seems much further removed.

Seeing that im up against a mainly male audience here, of which many are into the nightlife scene here and paying for sex etc, i think its likely useless me trying to explain another side.

Im not being moralistic on how members like to live their life either. Im just saying i dont think its particularly healthy for younger age groups. Heck, to truly be perfectly honest, ive seen some older age groups end up with warped perceptions of women after exposure to the nightlife in Thailand..but thats a whole other topic!

Instead of insults, why don't you attempt to anwser the question. Would it have been more morally acceptable if the two teachers took the males to Pat Pong and left the female students back at the hotel. If so why?

They went to uncover Far East Culture for themselves. They found it.

And if your destination is a garbage dump, you'll probably uncover mostly garbage.

I hardly think Patpong on Phuket was in any way appropriate for a "Far East Cultural" trip for high schoolers. The responsibility lies further up than the two laissez-faire teachers who simply brought the trip to it's natural conclusion with a destination like that. Perhaps next year they should try Las Vegas to delve into the erudite study of "Western U.S. Culture." :)

I'm not laughing at you Eek, knowing you're a Lady, but I think you're being naive about teenagers and sex nowadays.

You're probably not aware how many and how much teenagers are watching real live porn on their PC's at home in this era and I'm not just talking Thailand.

12, 13yr and up boys and girls know and have seen a LOT more about sex than we did in our youth, simply because sex is just one click away and we didn't have internet and sex websites in those days.

Obscure (but Oh my Gosh how exciting :) ) small pornographic magazines existed and were hard to get or/and find but if you wanted....you could.

Sex and porn websites might be forbidden in Thailand but also in other countries but you would be VERY surprised how smart these youngsters are (girls also!) to avoid the blockades by the governments and search and find what they want to see: porn and sex!

That some people and parents (in this case the UK) are so bloody hypocrite to send teachers home because they were responsible for their students during this trip in Thailand (and watched a live show) says more about the utter ignorance these people have.

Maybe they forgot HOW they found out about sex and porn when they were young......maybe they never bought obscure magazines, the Playboy, Hustler when they were young ?

You're shocked that the teachers "facilitated" this ?...hmmmmm...maybe the teenagers begged them to let them watch the show ? :D

I suggest you go and talk to a group of 16-18 year old girls (and boys) in ANY country in Europe, US, OZ...and you will be surprised but maybe, in your eyes: SHOCKED...how much they know about porn and sex and how many had sex already when they were 13 or even younger.

I'm not saying that that's a good thing or not, just talking facts.

It's a news report.. Can't trust those. Mostly likely it's more than 50% BS, or spun in a certain way.

I have a 4 year old daughter.. I take her to a pub/restaurant sometimes where some of the staff are also prostitutes. Sounds bad doesn't it? Well, it isn't.

I think it's shocking to stigmatize sex work in such a way.

Yes eek. I'm inclined to agree with you. I don't think that live sex shows are a good thing for youngsters in that age bracket. More emphasis snould have been given to elephant trecks, jungle walking etc. What those kids will go back with something that made the most impression i.e. sex shows. The ripples from this will only go to perpetuate the false, but widely believed view that Thailand is all about bar girls, underage sex etc. etc. that we all know goes on but is not the true Thailand at all.

I think there is a big difference between YOU bringing your kid to a sex show and a some teachers who are paid to chaperone bringing them to one. I don't know that the police and Child Protective Services would see a big difference, however.

It's not suitable for a school trip.
