Counting about 4-5 hrs now with no power, down the road in choeng mon is fine. I always thought these wear island wide things. same a few days ago. Whats going on?

I've been told they are clearing the main power lines by cutting away tree branches etc. on a rolling programme.

That is why power is off for a big part of the day and not just an hour or so like happens during/after a thunderstorm

exactly, they cut the power today as they did few days ago, this was advertised by microphone in soi bond kai and all the shops yesterday and today morning.

the power will be resumed around 4PM like last time.

i'm glad to have a ups at home :)

Ah okay, I dont hear/understand the announcements, is there another one scheduled for the area?

UPS was great for all of 20 minutes :)
