I am looking to upgrade my computer, and have

been looking at the compaq range.

Does anyone have any advice on the 2545ap, performance

and reliabilty etc.

I've had a 2806ap for about 18 months. no complaints, i rate compaq quite a bit.

I have done one 2545 series. No CD Burner. Available on one of the line but I forget which.

Most Compaq laptops are reliable, though hard drives have seen soe problems throughout the 2500 range. One qwas replaced, one was formatted and restored ok.

Buy the Carepaq as well.

Thinking of it. Get a Toshiba P20/25

A Desktop replacement - I'm after one of these if the wifey says yes (if she says yes first time, i'm getting an Alienware Lappy )
