Whats Happening Here ?

Featured Replies

Got home last night and opened a browser up in firefox and ie and instead of going to my homepage google, it went to (nod32.com) eset .com.

I changed my DNS server settings and the problem seemed to go away. Just changed them back again today and all seems well again.

Anybody know whats going on here ? Have I been hijacked or is this a problem with the server getting the address wrong ? (does this happen?)

Do you use Nod32 as your virus checker by any chance? What DNS were you using? Believe I had some such issue with OpenDNS when I was using it many moons ago.

Nope I use avast.

DNS

1. 202.69.137.137

2. 202.69.137.138

Was using these settings and switched to open DNS which cured it. Now switched back again and everything is back to normal.

Those are Maxnet servers from quick check and they seem to have been having major issues of late so probably just a fluk.

Can be corrected with DNS flush without needing to change DNS servers.
