Hello all,

I am looking to go to Thailand (Koh Tao) in January to undertake a Scuba Diving Instructor course. I am from the UK aged 25. I have a letter of invitation from the dive school.

Am I correct in thinking that i need a Non-Immigrant Visa for Education?

Do I need proof of flight before visa application?

And finally, do I need proof of onward travel? because I am planning on being out there a few months, and have no plans as yet for onward travel, acept to renew my visa every 90 days.

Any info would be greatly appricated.

Thanks!

Joe

You don't require a special visa to study but if you can get a non immigrant ED visa so much the better - it allows 90 day stay on entry.

Tickets/onward travel should not be an issue for visa or travel if you have a visa. But I would get visa someplace other than London. There are a number of honorary Consulates of Thailand in the UK.
