After a beautiful, brief but clean and cool weather week last week - the past couple of days been very hazy and smokey here in Jomtien - what's up with that I wonder?

Are you sure it is smoke?? Very windy around Jomtien today, i see a lot of dust around but no smoke.

Believe it could be dust from up country as the wind is now from the NE

Sometimes there are grass fires and/or garbage fires here even in the city limits, and the smoke can spread be quite nasty.

This is a topic I have often pondered myself. On recent trips to Pattay I have stayed in the Diana Inn on 2nd Rd. Opposite the restaurant there is a truck parked-up that is monitoring air quality. Does anyone know if the results of this exercise are available on-line ?
