Can anybody help us out?

We need to get cash to our daughter at the airport if possible any suggestions?

Which banks are situated in or near the airport please? It is not possible to use an ATM as she has no card.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I would be calling Western Union as am sure they can help you and provide closest pick up point. Be aware this is a holiday in Thailand until next Monday so it will probably have to be some other type of business to collect from unless the exchange kiosks at the airport can handle them.

Hi sriracha john

It means that we backed off and now she is fed up with living with nine people in one village house with no food, shower or money. Boyfriend who has not worked since February. So she now intends to come home and sort things out at home and then return at some point to her bf. Our problems are now of a different nature in that we have got to organise and pay for her rail ticket to Bangkok, air flight home and try and get her some money to pay departure tax etc. She is in a village just outside Suratthani. All getting very complicated as her bank account has been frozen - deep joy. So now the s**t has hit the fan and we are as predicted picking up the pieces from half way around the world - not easy with the holiday festival out there. We dont want to send her too much money as we know she will probably stay out there as she wanted to in the first instance with us funding her stay ....... not going to happen Sad thing is that when she does return it is not going to be easy as she will have no job etc to start sorting herself out - so I guess it is going to get worse before it gets better - but at least we are on the way now.

Thanks for your interest - was going to post an update when she finally arrived home as I still think she could change her mind at any momnet - no guarantees in life eh!

PS. Marriage has not been mentioned since original post - anybody's guess

Smad regards your other post "one way ticket" try this http://www.ebookers.ie/ go to the bottom of the page and click on the "globe" for world wide sites you can book a ticket from Bangkok to Heathrow or wherever in the UK ive just had a quick look for you 2nd May one way BKK-LHR with Jordanian is 217 pound but there are plenty of other carriers.

They will UPS deliver tickets for 15 pound in the EU or 30 pound worldwide...6 day delivery.

No the cash would be a big mistake.........should also say you may have to fiddle about with the site a little bit to get the one way price, post again if you have any probs.
