Driving Without Registration

Featured Replies

Hello,

i will buy a new Kawasaki 250 KLX. The dealer in Rama 9 told me the registration will take 2-3 weeks. But it is no problem to drive arround

without registration.

I feel a little bit scarred to do this, because i think it is not legal. What can happen when police stop me or i have an accident?

Thank you Greets

Alex

You should have a sells receipt and a tempory registration on the bike.

Dont they issue red plates in Bangkok ??

Nope, no red plates for new bikes in Bangkok.

Simply carry purchase invoice and proof of insurance for the BiB.

Don't let them fool you into thinking it's a problem. It's not.

Ride On!

Uh oh Tony...I sense another "Yes they do," "No they Don't" redplate argument on the horizon. :)
