Hello,

I am in the process of making a Cat B business visa from UK. Just asking anyone who has done it before.

I'm confused with the London /Hull websites.

On the London one it says the price for B visa is £200 pounds yet on the Hull site any Multi stamps including B are £100.

I have had contact with London and to be honest it sounded a nightmare even though I have the correct paperwork from my Thai company and all my requirements.

Do you think it would be best to just apply by post to Hull?

Also does anyone actually know if it's £200 or £100 for B visa?

Any help or advice would be welcome.

I've also fallen down on the national ID card as I don't have one. London asked for weird proof. Would sending bank account statements with my home address on suffice? I really think I may have just got the wrong person to deal with in London.

Mate - forget London, just apply to Hull. I had a letter from a Thai company and was granted the visa in 24 hours. Hull is the easiest place to get a non-B with minimal hassle and paperwork.

Thanks I thought so.

The Thai bloke at the London office ruined me.

He was asking for all the stuff I need on the work permit not visa????

I think I just had bad luck getting him. Trouble is it puts the wind up you when you get one like that. I'll post it to Hull like you say. How much is it exactly? £100 or £200?
