Tiger Woods Gate Reminded Me Why I Hate The Western World And Love Thailand

News flash, a young famous rich guy with a dick was cheating on his wife. What an outrage. Who'd a thunk!

Granted, he was <deleted> crazy to settle down so young anyways but lifestyles of the rich and famous is not something I can relate to anyways.

So I gotta listen to the news media sympathizing with cocktail waitress hood rats who are upset that they were not the only mistress. Saying totally unbelievable stories that they had no idea he was married and they would have NEVER got into the relationship if he wasn't so persistent in pursuing them. Oh yea that makes sense. Why would these women want to sleep with a young famous rich guy unless he practically forced them to. That's EXACTLY the way it works!

sigh!!!!!!!!

Then they go on and on about how he's just such a bad person and not the way a good man behaves. So all men gotta hold their head down in shame because see....if Woods would do it that implys all guys are capable of that and we are all scum for even thinking that way.

GIVE ME A <deleted> BREAK! In Thailand it would be a scandal if young famous rich guys were NOT fooling around. Guys got dicks and young guys want to use them with as many women as possible. That just the way we are programmed. The western world female controlled society just cannot accept that and guys must act the way women want them to or else we are all scum. But if cocktail waitresses and reality show contestants and softcore porn stars are seduced by a famous married guy. Well that is different. They are victims.

Living in the western world really sucks for a guy these days.

age doesn't matter much..I was older than him and finally settled down with a good Thai lady..believe me..the temptation is there..but NOT fooling around was the best move I made, resulting in having some degree of personal integrity left mostly intact. signed: close call

That's what can happen when you don't have an endless variety of 'no-strings attached' outlets -often with neon signs pointing the way- to relieve your testosterone buildup (no matter how PC it is to say/preach that you don't need it).

Another great example of the rich and famous lifestyle role models, none other than the Italian Stallion, Mr Silvio Berlesconi. :D

One rule for the rich, one rule for the poor and there are plenty of examples from both ends of the spectrum showing that the rules, on this issue, are essentially the same. The only thing that marks them apart is the value of the "repayment" to the suffering wife, oh and the visual "quality" of the siren. :)

Isn't it about time to let go of the "gate" suffix? It has absolutely no connection to any scandal since Watergate yet for some reason is automatically attached to the scandal de jour. Let it go.

It's kept, I think, because the press and the public like simple tags that they can attach to current issues. Adding 'gate to the scandal of the moment is a lot easier than using up scarce resources of brain cells and thinking up a new label. It could be worse, they could have recycled any one of the thousands of golf puns that exist.

Pardon my error. "This makes Woods himself one-quarter Chinese, one-quarter Thai, one-quarter African American, one-eighth Native American, and one-eighth Dutch." If it matters.

Oops! Wrong again. :)

His mother is Thai. He is 50% Thai. The rest of the potpourri comes from his Dad's side.

No, his mother is Thai-Chinese & Dutch

Woods was born in Cypress, California to Earl (1932-2006) and Kultida (Tida) Woods (born 1944). He is the only child of their marriage but has two half-brothers, Earl Jr. (born 1955) and Kevin (born 1957), and one half-sister, Royce (born 1958) from the 18-year marriage of Earl Woods and his first wife, Barbara Woods Gray. Earl, a retired United States Army lieutenant colonel and Vietnam War veteran, was of mixed African American, Chinese and Native American ancestry. Kultida (née Punsawad), originally from Thailand, is of mixed Thai, Chinese, and Dutch ancestry. This makes Woods himself one-quarter Chinese, one-quarter Thai, one-quarter African American, one-eighth Native American, and one-eighth Dutch.[14] He refers to his ethnic make-up as “Cablinasian” (a syllabic abbreviation he coined from Caucasian, Black, (American) Indian, and Asian).[15]

Not really, but most people think he is half Thai and half black, and it ain't so.

Of course there is a racial aspect to this controversy. Some black American women are expressing an objection that a "black man" chooses only whitebread beauty queen/bimbo bed partners. Funny considering he really isn't a black man.

Many people would say this is nobody's bizness but Tigers. However, he did (understandingly) profit greatly from the perception that he was not only Mr. Golf but also Mr. Clean, and he allowed this myth to perpetuate. Thus, he can't really be surprised that his life is never going to be the same now. However, he will remain filthy rich and a great golfer, so, so what?

Some people have not matured intellectually over the past 30 years. Evidently, the OP thought he was very clever, and he was wrong.

If you've ever seen her in person and heard her talk, I'd say it's likely that she made most of that up along the lines of 'she was just the cashier.' Either that or those Chinese and Dutch genes were all recessive, so recessive that even the Issanite last name took over. Just IMO.

Yes Thailand is a much better place for low class whoremongering men, congrats on finding nirvana. :) However FYI there are also plenty of Thais and Farangs in Thailand that have higher moral standards than that.

Which would explain all the 'higher moral standards' Thai brothels and hourly motels with discreet parking all over the place. :D
