I have adopted two kittens, about 8 weeks old.

O, it's fun too ! Nice skin and long tails and they eat and sh... like hel_l. But they might have worms and worms can harm people too I think. I don't see worms in their sh.. yet.

Any stuff available here and is it safe for such young kittens ?

Thanks.

You can have the vet deworm him.

Then have the vet give him shots for Rabies and the cocktail with FPV, FCV, FHV and Chlamidia.

The pet shops sell stuff for flees and such for 50thb, DON'T BUY THIS for your kitten! Way to strong! You'll need the 200thb stuff from the vets. <deleted> in the pet shop made my kitten horribly sick by selling it to me.

Good luck!

the kittens can get the same dewormers as puppies just the dosage is less; flea/tick stuff must be marked for use by kittens, if not it can kill them. puppy flea stuff cannot be used on kittens. cats are sensitive to certain insecticides (they also lick themselves much more) that dogs arent. read the labels in their original language before buying or applying. there are several anti flea products that also de worm. against specific worms.

u dont need to see worms in kittens' stool fo rthere to be worms. if u see worms, then they are chock full. as for humans, make sure that your children wash hands before eating or putting hands in mouths after playing with the kittens (a good healthy practice anyhow even for those of us that allow our dogs to clean out our nostril), and de flea the kittens.

there are other cat people on the forum that can advise better then i about vaccines in thailand for kittens; generally there is a sequence of vaccines that kittens and puppies get from 8 wks on. some vets give all at the same time (i dont like this method but the serums usually come pre mixed except for rabies which comes separately and given at a different age).

try flipping back in time here cause i beleive someone else asked same question in the past month or so...

have fun
