Toshiba Portege G810

Featured Replies

My cellphone, a Nokia N70, give up all services and went into repair.

Estimated repair price : 2,500 Baht.

As a long time resident in Thailand, I know from experience that once a device goes into repair, it fall's into a never ending story of repair shops until it finaly breaks completely.

As I braught my cellphone to repair, I was looking around for other cellphones and noticed the Panasonic. Toshiba shop who was offering a Toschiba Portege G810 PDA for 9,900 Baht.

It has the latest Wibows Mobile Operating System and a GPS system (dont know if the maps are also included or needs to be baught separately).

Does anybody has experience with this PDA phone?

How is the market for PDA phone's below 10,000 Baht range?

TIA

I would not buy another Windows PDA phone. Been there, done that. :)

Windows Mobile is so bad that Gadget site Gizmodo has stopped comparing WinMo phones with other smart phones. They go into their own category, and compete only with each other.

So yeah.. don't. Buy a nice Android phone, or an iPhone or a BB if that's your thing. Forget about WinMo.
