marlow
I am in the process of selling a used car and was wondering if anyone here can walk me through the exact paperwork process. I know I need to give the new owner the blue title book but is there somewhere in this book that I need to sign to release ownership? Also, do I need to go to the Land Transport Dept. with the new owner for anything? Anyone who has bought or sold a used car please help. Thanks in advance. ajahnlau
Yes there is a place in the book where you need to sign. You also need to sign 2 other Thai documents. This could be done at transport office or go to car/bike dealer and ask for these.
terdsak_12
You'll need the blue book, signed where your name should go, a transfer form signed, copies of work permit or embassy letter, or immigration document confirming your address, photo and visa page copies of passport, all signed. "Bpai Morp Am-Nard" signed to allow 3rd person to do transfer if you don't want to mess around a transport dept. Hope this helps.
