Artsy Fartsy, Jeans Fits, The Word "style", "cool"

1. If i want to explain that a movie is kinda "arty", not meaning that the movie itself is necessary about an artist, or art in itself, but rather the movie is created by an "artist" rather than a regular commercial hollywood film maker (not that i don´t consider hollywood film makers artist, but anyway, just as an example), how would i say that? Is there such a word for being arty?

2. Let´s say i want o explain that a certain kind of clothes or fashion looks very cheap, or kitch, any one knows a good word or sentence to explain that?

3. Let´s say i want to explain that a certain pair of jeans fits my body better than another pair, even though the style of the other pair is cooler

What words in Thai would best translate to the words "fit", "style" and "cool" in the above context?

Does any have any ideas?

1. I'd say ศิลป์ๆ (that's "sin-sin"), which means "artsy", or ออกศิลป์ๆ -- ออก means to show a tendency towards something, and doubling the word ศิลป์ makes it "artsy" as opposed to just saying หนังศิลป์ which is stating straightforwardly that it's an art film. ศิลป์ๆ can apply to pictures and other things too. For a person (like the filmmaker or photographer, etc) you could say they're คนหัวศิลป์ an "artsy" person.

2. Not sure what to say for kitschy clothes.

3. You can say ใส่พอดี for "well-fitting" (there's also ฟิต, but that usually means "tight-fitting"), สไตล์ for "style" and เท่ for "cool"

ตัวนี้ใส่พอดีกว่า แต่ชอบอีกตัวหนึ่ง สไตล์ออกเท่ๆ

"This pair fits better, but I like the other pair, the style is cooler"

wow, great answer, thank you very much!

Actually about the word kitch, the word i am looking for is more close to the the meaning of "cheap" in a negative way, and i know kitch does not exactly means cheap.

So i am actually looking for a word meaning "cheap" in a negative way.

I assume i cant use "Took", or can it be used in a situation like this, or are there any better words for it?
