Went and did my 90 day reporting today, took along proof of address as I normally do in Jomtien, they didnt need it and processed the 90 day ticket in a matter of minutes no waiting, great attitude up here. So one thing that was interesting, got there about 2pm, visa extensions were closed for the day and they were telling people to come back on the 18th to do extensions.

Smooth as silk getting 90 day reporting in a different province though.

Did you move to Chiangmai or were you visiting ?

I read many time on the forum that you have to do your 90 reporting in your home province. Since last year I think.

I report to Chonburi Immigration but as I travel often to Chiangmai, I would be glad to know that I can do my 90 reporting in Chiangmai oe anywhere else in Thailand.

I am on Non-O retirement extension.

Thanks

I got the impression from one of the ladies at CM that while you are on an O-A visa you can use any office for 90 day but once you have an extension you are stuck. I would actually like this clarified if anyone knows..

Visiting, 90 Day reporting can be done anywhere, extensions are the only ones that require to be in your home immigration, if you are changing visa types you can do that at the old immigration in Bangkok, not the new one stop center I have been told.

There does not appear to be any firm rule on 90 day reporting yet - with the huge change of offices over the last several months expect that has not been a priority.

Old immigration in Bangkok is Suan Phli and that is now only available to those from adjacent countries and IDC stays for those in jail. All activities for others are done at new Immigration on Chiang Watanna Road. Bangkok residents can also use the BOI one stop center for 90 day reports and re-entry permits. But that location changes from Rasa Tower to Rama IV on the 4th of January.

Just went in for my 90 day report around 2:30 PM. Took about 3 minutes and a lady officer punched the queue button herself after asking what I was there for. A piece of paper taped over the screen saying queue full for extensions. Has extensions before the queue system have issues with being told to come back? Don't remember that being a problem before.

I obtained my one year retirement O visa while still in the States on Nov. 23rd, I arrived in country on Dec. 10th. My question is do I go in for my 90 day reporting based upon when I received the visa or when I arrived? I am thinking it should be based upon my arrival date but I would hate to wait until that date to find out I was wrong. Anyone know the correct answer to this?

If you have an O Visa you have to leave the country every 90 days.

If you have an O-A Visa you report to Immigration every 90 days.

The day you entered Thailand will be day one.

It is an O-A one year retirement visa. sorry about missing the A part in my post. So I report 90 days from my entry date or my visa date?

With all of the recent political activity, I'm looking to mail in my 90-Day TM 47 and avoid my day-trip to the city... but I am having difficulty determining where precisely to mail it. One post gave the "new" address in Bangkok, another said it "should" be mailed to the regional/ specified provincial immigration office. I physically go to Chiang Mai, but do not even see where the mailing address for the Chiang Mai office is.

Can someone please clarify what address I should mail my EMS package to? Thank you.

>>>> Oh, and as a PS, this may be a good excuse to post each of the immigration office mailing addresses if indeed they are to go locally and not to Bangkok. :)
