And ....more Questions Regarding Retirement Visa !

Note:

The bank certification of deposit (of 800,000 baht) must show that the money came into the bank from another country.

-Can i transfer from my bank account to my oversea visa ( via internet ) , said the need sum for retirement ?

Go to the bank in Bangkok and withdraw from my visa , said the need sum ?

ASK a confirmation letter from the bank this money was from oversea ...?

Amount is not a problem as I already done this exercise !

-Can I apply for retirement when I pass 49 and one day ? :o

been in thailand for the last 8 years on a 3*3 months visa and few 1 year

-Can I mix income and deposit ?

I have a income, a lease on a commercial property, can I use a part of it as a prove of monthly income? embassy will do it ? presum a letter from my accountant will be helpfull ?

I have statements showing deposit every monthsfor the last 9 years ?

Note:

A Letter from your embassy saying you wish to retire in Thailand For an applicant …

Is it a easy formality?

1. Some people have used point of sale withdrawal at a bank in Bangkok. Be sure to directly deposit to your account and remind bank that you need to show it is from overseas (just to make sure).

2. You must be 50 or over.

3. You can probably mix income/deposit but you will need certification of income from your Embassy. Also remember the exchange rate used will not be the current bank rate.

4. Up to your Embassy what they will or will not accept. You will have to ask them.

5. If a letter is required it should be easy to obtain but will probably be at a fee. Again you need to ask your Embassy.
