Medicine

Featured Replies

I need medication for my heart. Visited already many drug stores but wihout result. What is de biggest drug store in CR? Maybe they have them. Oh b the way I also found out that medicine here in CR is about 10% cheaper than in CM.

We just had a thread on this, have you tried the one on the corner of Phanthonyothin (the main street in the old town) and the street that runs directly to the old bus station?

You'll know it, it's a wholesale pharmacist and the shop is full of boxes of drugs. English spoken; if you can't get it there, you'll have to go to Chiang Mai.

Edit: Here's the other thread we had this week.

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Directions-t322429.html

The pharmacy on the right corner just as you enter the main entrance to The Night Bazaar, it's opposite the Pizza Co. It is a wholesale and retail shop and if anyone can help then they can. The woman in there is inclined to be more helpfull than her husband, she has quite good Engish ability.

Good Luck

Hahaha, I almost was as quick as Lannaman, by omitting reading the other reactions first.

I also copied the same link Scuadugenga gave : http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Directions-t...amp;hl=medicine

This forum consists now of 44 pages with approximately 25 threads each.

There might be five or six threads titled "where is the best veterinarian in town", "where are the cheapest, but very good, hotels"

and of course "what are the attractions I have to visit when I come to Chiang Rai".

And, of course, with the theme that might have your special interest in the past: "what is better, Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai".

Though it might take hours to find them back and therefore a search function has been created, that can show itself very helpfull

when you are looking for specific information.

At the bottom left side of the webpage, you will find it:

Welcome in town Jantje!

Limbo :)

PS: Regarding one of your earlier questions: I think the cheapest 'hangmappen kastjes' you will find on the upper floor of Yiemsawat,

the big department store, about three kilometers south of Big C at the super highway (take the first u-turn).

I think they have the biggest department with office furniture, but are certainly not the only ones that have it.

I'm probably as guilty as anyone of not using the search engine Limbo.

The process can be lengthy and confusing so it's just as easy to start a new thread.

And give my ThaiVisa friends something to moan about as they help me out! :):D

Thank you for the info!

I did try a search with several words but without results.

Thanks anyway for all your cooperation!

Jantje, you can always PM me (another function of this forum) for 'Dutch in Chiang Rai' oriented questions.

And in Dutch of course!

Greetings,

Limbo :)
