There was a thaivisa Friday Night-out every week, but it died down afer some members moved away and somehow the group fell apart. If you like to revive that, would be great, it was always good fun.

Another suggestion to meet professionals and expats here is to join the social meetings with one/more of the chambres of commerce - there are several, British, Australian, American, German, Dutch and probably more. Most of them allow non-members access for a reasonable fee which includes snacks and drinks. They usually have a mailing list you can join in order to be notified about the events which are usually hosted in one of the better hotels in the area.
