Has anyone spent time LIVING and WORKING in both Bali and Phuket?

I am considering a move to Bali (from Phuket - have been here two years) but would like to know from someone who has really *lived* there what its like. Especially as it compares to Phuket, as it always seems to be.

Any resources such as we have here with ThaiVisa? Or other forums, info sites, etc.?

I have found The Bali Times, which looks to be similar to the Phuket Gazette and Phuket Post so that's a start.
