The best way is with a trojan remover program

If the trojan is not hidden too deep, do the following

If you are using windows:

Click start -> run -> type in regedit in the text box

registry will open up

in the registry click edit -> find -> win32/Renos.JM

highlight win32/Renos.JM, then right mouse click and delete

Download and install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (the free version).

Make sure the program is fully updated before performing a scan. As a precaution, disconnect your computer from the internet once the MBAM self-update is complete.

Select everything that MBAM finds, click "remove selected". You MUST restart your computer when prompted.

After reboot, run a quick scan again -- to make sure the system is clean.

Second vote for malwarebytes.org.

Also try out Eset Free Online Scanner - www.eset.com/onlinescan/ - it will also remove without having to purchase, and Eset have good detection and removal rates.

If you're going to poke around registry I'd strongly recommend taking a backup first.

I also have been using malwarebytes.org.

It was suggested to me by Leo Laporte - The tech Guy. He has numerous pod casts available at The TWIT Network. I try to listen to as much as possible as I find it all very informative. Learned heaps of useful tips etc.

Using cracked antivirus programs is not to be recommended.

Especially NOD32 I would say, 99.9999% of the Thai shops pre-load their crappy windows installations with a cracked NOD32. There are no free versions of NOD32, so it has to be cracked. These cracked versions are nothing but trouble, we get computers in almost every day loaded with virus despite them having NOD32 installed.

Loads of free excellent antivirus programs out there, I will not name any as this is not supposed to go OT and discuss which is the best free AV program (loads of such topics already).

NOD32 or Avira are by far the best AV's out there. However, when you have an infection you need to scan in safe mode for the most effective removal, regardless of what you use.

I tend to think that these freeware programs tend to install more crap than they remove, tbh.

You get what you pay for, i guess

Penkoprod

that's not always true, some free programs have/collect a larger database which they can sell to commercial companies and in return they also get the solutions, - talking about spyware etc..
