Going to Sakhon Nakon soon and would like to stay in a nice hotel/resort nearby which has wifi and a pool if possible?? The River View Hotel there with view over the Mekong river is really nice. It's almost one hours drive from Sakhon Nakhon, but we wanted to stay comfortable. The river view hotel does look nice granted, but unfortunately Nakhon Phanom is a bit far for us. We would prefer to be west of S.N and east of Udon Thani. The Green Gecko looks good, but pricey.
