I've got a dream box and on some of the listed channels, I can't get squat, ie bbc, cnn etc.

Same here, you need to re-scan the satellite and transponder and then make new bouquets.

I am on dreambox too.... can u pm me how to re-scan?....sigh... not too savvy...

I am also on Dreambox as I imagine many others are! Can anyone please post on TV here how to rescan so we dont have to call in a tech!

I'm very slow when it comes to tech stuff... how do you eleminate the channels you don't want?

The menu ask for password???

On the generic box (dunno the technical name for it);

Click MENU button

> select Set Up option (4)

> select Channels (1)

> press OK on each channel you want to to skip

> when finished, click MENU button to get SAVE option

> click OK to save

No password equired for this!

Then Start Scan

To add remove chanels

Set Up>>

Service Organising>>

Add Services to bouquet>>

Select your bouquet>>

Select your satalite>>

Anything red to add and White to remove from Bouquet.>>

To sort Chanels

Set Up>>

Service Organising>>

Edit Bouquet>>

Select Bouquet>>

Green Button Marks a channel>>

up and down keys to move where you want>>

Then enter to place it

Is that list of channels the total amount of channels True do? Im on a gold package so how many should I get?

Also my box in my room only goes up to channel 60, and my channels aren't laid out the same as that guide. I also haven't received any of the new channels and none of the channels have moved since the change.

Could it be that some where in my apartment building is a master box receiving true, and I just have some kind of feed from that into my box?

I don't really have a clue, as the gold package is included in my rent, I didnt set it up, it was already in the room. I also have a very basic looking box called Dimon d101 TV FRONT END.
