Rimmer Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Sawang Boriboon emergency rescue volunteers received an odd request on the morning of the 13th January from staff at McDonald’s in The Avenue on Second Road. The drama began when an inquisitive staff member somehow had managed to get his middle finger stuck in a hole in a wooden drawer and they needed the volunteers’ help to release the finger. No situation too small, a volunteer was sent to the store to resolve the drama. After failing to release the finger with lubricant, both the embarrassed young man and the drawer were rushed to nearby Pattaya Memorial Hospital where after a tense 30 minutes of medical procedure, a doctor finally solved the problem by sawing off the top of the drawer to release the swollen finger. neverdie Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 At least it was the 'finger' on his hand that got stuck in the hole
goldfinger Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 what does this tell to us??? Fast food makes FAT
neverdie Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 what does this tell to us??? [/quotes] Some holes are tight.
Phil Conners Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Another sample from the shallow end of the gene pool.
Jingthing Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I wonder if icing the area would have reduced the size of the finger enough to pull it out. Fingers puff up in hot humid weather. I really hate it when fingers get stuck in holes. A happy ending here.
rayong09 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Makes you wonder what he was doing with the other hand whilst fingering the said hole.
whatchamacallit Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I guess the morale of this story is: Work for McDonald they have a good Employee Health Insurance Coverage :-)
Graham101 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Probably checking it for size. was their any mould or other furry substance around the hole?
sharecropper Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 When I read the headline I thought they had run out of salt for their chips, or fat for eveything else. Phew.
Hazri Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Looking at the pic, I noticed he stuck his middle finger in the hole, instead of the usual index finger. Middle finger stuck in a hole... where have i seen it before?
Ohio Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I thought it was KFC that was 'Finger Lickin' good' could this be a Marketing Ploy ????
khundon Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Imagine my surprise. I felt sure that the story would end with the madics cutting off the offending finger, that being worth less than the cost of replacing the drawer unit.
NADTATIDA1 Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Beats getting your fingers caught in the till.....thai style! seriously i thought someone had a heart attack or something, only in Thailand.
Jingthing Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Looking at the pic, I noticed he stuck his middle finger in the hole, instead of the usual index finger. Middle finger stuck in a hole... where have i seen it before? Maybe he has been hanging out with Dutch boys talking about their dykes.
NanLaew Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I thought it was KFC that was 'Finger Lickin' good' could this be a Marketing Ploy ???? That would be copyright infringement. "Finger Stickin' Good" would be acceptable. PS. Also not that it was his whole finger that was stuck.... and not the one next to it. PPS. Ploy is no longer with our marketing department.
NanLaew Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Makes you wonder what he was doing with the other hand whilst fingering the said hole. What's the dirtiest part of your body? Your mind.
