Recently, there's a lot of publicity about 3BB (three broad band), a new ISP with phone and other services that recently expanded from BKK to CM. Has anyone tried it? How does it compare to Maxnet and True Internet in Chiangmai?

3BB is the Maxnet portion of TT&T under new management. While others have complained about it, I have used Maxnet Premier for a while now and it has been consistently reliable. It depends on where you live and how many users there are in your node. As others have advised elsewhere, ask around in your area before to find out what might work best for you.

I've used it for 3 months in Saraphi and its frustrating. 1,100 Baht per month for the 3MB package.

In the daytime its fine, I can download a movie at 350kbps, but for some reason around 6-7pm I get no connection at all until the next morning.

There customer service blows big time, I have complained at least 4 times and only once did we get a tech guy visit who said the connection was fine - which it is in daytime! Very odd.

Overall its hard to recommend them
