napalm
I have booked a train from Bangkok to Buriram next week and need to find a good taxi that can take us from the train station to a village about 40km north-west of Buriram. Any recommendations or other taxi companies to contact there ? Thanks !
Cuban
Not knowing the area in question, have your wife/etc. phone a hotel in the area or the railroad station directly, they will have contact details so someone is waiting for you.

Thaddeus
Simple instructions..................... 1. Get off the train and exit the station. 2. Ask the taxi driver who approaches you, how much to x? 3. Repeat 2 until happy price achieved. 4. Get in taxi that gives you best price, as long as it isn't falling to bits and looks incapable of going 40km (80km is not your problem)
Chaimai
I believe there is a local business who provide taxi services, car hire etc. Try 081-0704750 - this may be useful if you have a preference to pre-book. taurus8
there are no taxis in Buriram, only Tuk-Tuks and Motorcycle taxis. if you have friends ask them to give you a ride from train station. Tuk-tuks not cheap....BEWARE.
binnsy
I must admit i have never seen a TAXI in Buriram for HIRE only Tuk Tuks and Motorbikes. You might be very very lucky and there is a Taxi who has dropped off in the area of the Train station but that a million to one odds.

Agree. The only chance is to pre-book. It is not my position to promote Almog's business but he does car hire AND taxi services. Phone number in previous post.
