Signs On American Consulate Walls ? What's Happening

Featured Replies

Sawasdee Khrup, TV Friends,

Seen (at night, not too clearly) from a balcony of a condo looking west across the Ping : some interesting signs on the American Consulate's white walls facing the river : friend, condo-owner, says the signs say "Freedom" in English and Thai, and are red in color. What are they about ?

Seen (at night) on Thanon Charoen Phratet on the east (river Ping) side of the road just before you come to the one-way bridge crossing over the Ping (Iron Bridge : that's directly across from the east end of Loy Kroh) : looks like the old Thai house that was put up there some time ago has been taken down and new construction of something is under way. What that ?

thanks, ~o:37;

Thaksin? :)

Nope. There will be a wall painting by school children next Saturday.

Just went by there and it looks pretty good.

There was one guy painting in one section as I rode by and others look complete, with yet some blank...

Kinda cute if they were really done by kids........ something like the old NYC Subway cars.

Gonzo

done in part by CMIS and kids from American Consulate employees
