TWA Posted January 16, 2010 Share Posted January 16, 2010 (edited) My wife and i are in the process of applying for a Dependant Child Visa (subclass 445) for my step son to join us in Australia. The application was lodged six weeks ago and this week we received a call from the Australian Embassy Bangkok, requesting my step son's passport to be provided. They wouldn't give any indication on the visa out come, but one would assume we should be fairly close. My wife however is having sleepless nights worrying. Has anyone been through this process recently? If so how long was it after providing the child's passport to the Embassy via VFS before your received an out come?
