The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Bangkok Bank are continuing their collaboration on the 'Bangkok Bank-TAT Visa card' with new benefits for domestic travellers.

To emphasise its exclusive holiday benefits, 'Bangkok Bank-TAT Visa card' is offering cardholders special promotions and discounts of up to 50 per cent at hotels, restaurants, spas and leading golf courses nationwide. New cardholders will also receive cash rebates paid into their credit card accounts to a maximum of Bt15,000.

TAT's Deputy Governor Wansadej Thavornsuk siad "TAT remains focused on its policy of stimulating domestic tourism via many activities to encourage both Thai nationals and foreigners to increase their travel throughout Thailand, growing Thailand's tourism market in a sustainable way. To achieve this, TAT is working with government and private sector organisations, including in neighboring countries, to organize several programs supporting travellers, to develop the necessary information technology, and to provide additional measures to make life more convenient for travelers. We believe that a great tourism industry means a better quality of life for all Thai people, increasing employment nationwide and generating income for the nation."

To Choke Na Ranong, the bank's credit card division manager, the cardholders will also receive travel news round-ups, TAT's travel booklet, VIP-seat ticketing for TAT events throughout the year, holiday benefits including discounts of up to 50 per cent at hotels, restaurants, spas and leading golf courses nationwide, as well as access to the Hotline Service Call Center, supporting cardholders with 24-hour nationwide roadside assistance such as tow truck, emergency technicians and concierge services for tourism attractions and routing information.

Both parties are committed to continuing to offer attractive benefits, through many activities and marketing events, which will ensure the card maintains its leadership in the market, with exclusive travel offers and great holiday benefits.
