thaiphoon
Maximum 7 day extension. Likely immigration will want sight of air ticket out of the country within timeframe. Fee 1,900 baht.
neuf
Just an FYI, entered the country mid-October on a non-immigrant B (issued in Singapore), submitted a copy of all the paperwork associated with the original visa app in SG and got a 7 day extension ("extension of stay is not approve, must leave the kingdom by ...") without an air-ticket (was going to use the 7 days to figure out stuff with the Labor Dept. but instead flew to SG and got another single entry B visa.) Correct. There actually is no such thing as a 7 day extension, rather it is time they give you to gather your stuff and organize travel after they refuse an extension request! We have to look at this as a friendly gesture of immigration, as they are legally not obliged to take an application for an extension they know beforehand they will refuse (along with giving the 7 day allowance).
