Yes use the yellow and read metered ones. Don't use the limo's, they are overpriced and drive like suicidal maniacs. There is also a bus that runs to Phuket town, but oddly not to Patong as the transportation mafia won't allow it. It's shameful.

My laptop batteries died, so I ended up coughing up for a "limo" - suicidal maniac is a pretty good description of the guy that drove me! I will remember to go for the metered taxis next time, thanks for the advice

Yeah. they call a "limo" Camry or Civic. What a scam.
