Featured Replies

Hi,

I've booked 3 night's in the chinatown hotel when i stop in BK on my way south to samui. My main reason was it's close to the train station. But i've seen mixed reviews about it :o . Has anyone stayed there, what did ya think of it. Does any one know of any better hotels (not too expensive about 1000 bt a night) in the same area????

Any help much appericianted

Do you really have to stay near the station when we now have subway leaving from the Hua Lamphong station? With BTS skytrain connecting to subway I think Hua Lamphong station now is more easily accessible from anywhere in Bangkok than from inside the china town. If you have to stay close to the station there is a Station Hotel (address below) right in front of the hotel at less than B1,000 a night. Personally I don't see a point of staying in the china town unless ou want to stay in the china town.
