eurasianthai Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 What is the reason you stay in Thailand? Is is the weather, the sand and beaches? Is it the food? Is it the scenery? Is it the people? Is it the girls? Is it the ladyboys? Is it the airport? Or is it your Thai family? Tough choice, for me a combination of quite a few. Do not hesitate to post pictures illustrating the reasons you stay in Thailand, a picture is worth one thousand words...
WeeGB Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 So I can spend hours everyday, following the wonderful world of Thaivisa members. George, Mods, cheques please to WeeGB, Bank Of Nigeria.
eurasianthai Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 I actually work in Thailand, the main reason I came here. And the main reason I stay here. Wife and son do not mind leaving Thailand. But well, I like the food and the beaches
GucciLittlePiggy Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 But well, I like the food and the beaches And trolling.
Spoonman Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Ok well i could prolly add cheap sex, cheap booze, cheap ciggies , cheap lifestyle etc etc etc, I come from the Gold Coast so im not here for the beaches and the weather here is pretty much same same , temples do nothing for me so what else is left ??
eurasianthai Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 But well, I like the food and the beaches And trolling. Believe me on that, on Thaivisa.com, nobody trolls
eurasianthai Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 so what else is left ?? Taking photos you'll share with us?
eurasianthai Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 I don't stay for the flowers but I sure like them in Thailand. And I really wonder why I see so few flowers in gardens in Bangkok. The climate is perfect for exotic flowers, like orchids and I, for one, keep quite a few in my garden in Bangkok.
chiang mai Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 I came here on holiday nine years ago for a weekend and forgot to go home again, by the time I'd remembered I'd forgotten where home was, still don't really know but have given up worrying about it.

nasajsc Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Very nice ones nasajsc , wherei is it and what camera did you use? Flying in Chiang Mai, camera = EOS 5D with 135mm zoom, the wife used the camera, it was her first time with it, so actually i was very impressed... Awesome mountains, lakes and temples to fly-over around this area!
Spoonman Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 so what else is left ?? Taking photos you'll share with us? Yeah most of the piccies I take are forbidden to be hosted on public sites like PhotoBucket/imageshack etc etc so im guessing they would not be suitable for TV either.
ignis Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 My health, hate the cold + all the pain, and Algarve in Portugal had got very expensive. Over 6 years here still love the place, the food, the people, the way of life.
needforspeed Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Family, friend, smiles and food. Couldt send a picture of papaya pok pok but here one from my work.
Briggsy Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I honestly don't know any more. Relocating elsewhere would be a pain.
Penangkaki Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Love my work here. I get to give orders and do nothing myself
PennyFarthing123 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Because there is no where I would rather live.
syd barrett Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 For the warm 330ml bottles of Chang beer sold at 95 baht.
manarak Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Some of the above, plus the financial matters: - Cost of living: everything is dirt cheap when you come from Switzerland! - Taxes - keep your earnings abroad for 12 months before transferring them to Thailand and pay no taxes!
