Moving To Bangkok

Sort of depends why you're moving here- work, retirement, weather, relationship..? What sort of area do you want to live in, do you drive, will you be getting a car? If not then probably want to live near to a BTS or MRT station so you can just grab a train.

ya,

You write a one line post and expect us to give you the story of Bangkok. How about some info and Background ? And how about you try some searching yourself too ? You can use Google with the keywords 'living in Bangkok' and find thousands of pages, including blogs and opinions - also try a search on this forum.

When you have something more specific to ask, then by all means come back and give us a more focussed question.

Hi,

Don't listen to the rest because we are the best.

When you get to bangkok airport you have two choises.

1.You get in a taxi and go to Pattaya and ask the taxi driver for a good clean cheap hotel because they are very willing to help you. And if you can't find enough good entertainment in this place, you might as well get back on the plane.

2.Get on another plane(or bus) and head north towards Chang-Mai.

There you can be a backpacker or just a regular bloke and you can travel all over the north of Thailand and here it is a lot cheaper then Bangkok for everything.

Khirimat two :):D (2 lost in action)

Ps. We have been here for ten years so we know what we are talking about(Sometimes)
