I'm probably the last to know but apparently you can't buy gas after 12 midnight?? (probably due to the 'conservation' methods in place lately?). I drove to pattaya this afternoon and was on a tight sched, therefor put off filling up until I was set to drive back to Bkk. The warning light was on for over an hour as i drove from one closed gas station to the next. Finally, a motorcycle taxi guy escorted me to a place just up the street from pattaya mail ofc and there it was, all blacked out but fillin' er up! Almost had to spend the night! If you didn't know already, you're now forewarned.

PS: Is it just me? - I need a rule book or something just to keep it all sorted:

-Can't buy spirits between 2-5 (?)

-closing time is 12, no 1, no, 1:30 Ddoohh!

-Malls close at 10, or??

-Fillerup before 12 - ok, got that one down now at least

Yep Even I know about that, and I don't drive.

I've given up trying to track bar closing times since they change more often than I find myself out that late.
