I was trying to say that although the price of renting a house is high where I come from, it is all relative.

I found I couldn't get this concept across.

Does anyone know how to say this in Thai.

Do you mean that the salaries are high(er) where you come from as well so the difference between renting in Thailand and your country is comparable to the difference in salaries?

ถึงแม้ว่าค่าเช่าบ้านในบ้านผมจะสูง แต่มันก็สัมพันธ์กับอย่างอื่น

If the one you talk with ask you how it's all relative (สัมพันธ์กันยังไง ?), you may reply as ก็อย่างเช่น รายได้ กับ ค่าครองชีพก็สูงเเหมือนกันไง

I would say that the cost KEUN YUU GAP SATARNAGARN

meaning that it depends on the situation

or change satarnagarn to satarn tii - depends on the area

Way too lazy to type that in Thai, and it is possibly not what you after anyway

The problem is not the translation, but the actual concept. It is very difficult to explain this perticular concept to some one who never have experience the "over-sea" trip.
