I forgot to tell you their hours are:

Tue/Wed/Thur 0900-1100 and 1300-1500

Very little business so they don't hang tight with the hours.

Better to call ahead and let them know when you're coming.

They have a cafeteria inside the compound. You can also

get US made cigarettes. Or, you can pass on the smokes

and they have a small gym. Also have a barber shop for that

high and tight you love :o

All branches of the military work in the compound and in civilian

clothes. Most are officers.

The Retired Affairs Office is also there and ran by a very experienced

83 year old retired Air Force guy. When you retire you can use the

APO/FPO mail service.

Just out of curiosity, what is JUSMAG and what does it do?

I live very close to it and actually been inside JUSMAG a couple of times in early 80's to watch movies with my friend from high school whose brother-in-law was a military attache at US embassy and thus held a pass. I know it's some kind of American military installation but never had a clue to this date what they do in there. Though I understand, being non-US citizen, it's none of my business/concern. Just very curious living in the neighborhood.

I saw its website but still haven't got a clue what it's there for.

I see, thanks :o

It's amazing if it's still there for that purpose alone (well maybe more than that) more than 3 decades after withdrawal of the majority of US troops in Thailand.

well, we still go there for exercises every year and some military spouses are thai citizens. Also, military personell who retire there can utilize the place.
