February 16, 201016 yr So, I am about to start getting everything together to apply for a settlement visa for my Thai wife. Is it a good idea to get the TB check done first? I was just wondering, what is the process here? Which are the approved hospitals, and do I need to make an appointment? Any idea how much it will cost? Thanks if anyone can help!
February 16, 201016 yr Bangkok Christian Hospital on Silom road is the one used by most Embassies. Very qualified staff and not expensive. I remember about seven years ago a full health check was 1200 Baht.
February 16, 201016 yr Author It helps if you put the country you're applying to in your post. Sorry. It's for a UK Settlement visa. It's just I thought I read that there were only two approved hospitals where you can get it done. I was wondering which ones they were, exactly? Thanks
February 16, 201016 yr As it's a settlement application to the UK, then the TB certificate is mandatory and must be obtained from the International Organisation for Migration. See Tuberculosis testing for applicants visiting the UK for longer than 6 months.
