I assume this is a new alteration to the system but I understand there is now a limited window of time in which to edit your post.

I would moan but then you'd only tell me to make sure I check my posts within that time period wouldn't you.

That function exists basically so that one cannot edit ones post after making a statement, therefore retracting that particular statement and causing confusion.

I thought it would be something like that, but if people were abusing the function I can understand it.
