I Need A English Summer School Job In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi there

Does anyone have any links for teaching english at a summer school / camp in Thailand beginning March or sooner. I am available during the summer break and would like to continue my teaching.

A friend suggested Chantanburi but I cannot find anything on the web.

Kind regards

James (I am currently an english teacher at a secondary school in Ubon Ratchathani province)

Uh oh, have to show my true pedantic colors here, apologize in advance. But if you really want to keep the English teacher image alive, you really shouldn't write for all to read "I need a English . . . job." It is, natch, "I need an English . . . job." But trying to be helpful here, you might check with the U.S. Peace Corps office, when I was a volunteer I organized summer English teaching seminars for Thai teachers during the semester breaks, we used a lot of volunteers, but I think they're doing more of this kind of thing now, so there might be a program with money for outside people, too, things are better funded than they used to be. If they don't have something, maybe they could refer you to somewhere else. Just an off-chance, but at this late date you probably need all and any leads. I'd suggest visiting the Bangkok office (242 Rajvithi Road, Amphur Dusit, Bangkok 10300, Thailand, right near the Sang Hee [Krung Thon] bridge.) Good luck.
