Week Out Of Bangkok

Hi there,

I am looking for a little beach hut to hire for a week or so, far enough from Bangkok to relax but close enough to get to on a cheap bus.

Has anyone got any suggestions on places?

Koh Samet is 2 hours drive from Bangkok about 180kms. Try there its a nice island varying types of accomodation. U can get a bus from Ekamai bus station to Ban Phe. They leave hourly. Ban Phe is the gateway for Koh Samet. Note the bus takes about 3 and a bit hours

Many nice beaches between Prachuap and Chumpon: Prachuap itself, Ao Manao military base nearby, Ban Krut, Ban Sapan Noi, Thung Wua Laen, all easy reachable by bus.
